Firebase Analytics may receive feature interactions, practice duration, settings choices, screen and session engagement, app and operating-system versions, platform, broad geographic information and an app-installation identifier. Firebase Crashlytics may receive crash stack traces, error messages, app state, diagnostic breadcrumbs, device and operating-system details, timestamps, and installation or session identifiers. We do not send your name, email address, contacts, precise location, microphone content, photos or account information.
To keep the app usable between sessions, the app saves your preferences in private local storage:
The Android app excludes its files, databases and preferences from cloud backup and device-to-device transfer. Apple-platform backups follow your device and iCloud settings. If you enable Analytics, the current values of the limited categorical and numeric settings listed above may also be sent as product events; the developer cannot access the complete local records.
Google Firebase processes analytics and diagnostic data on our behalf. We use aggregated reports, trends, funnels, coarse acquisition channels and crash reports to improve the product and its reliability. We do not sell data or use it for advertising, data-broker profiling or tracking across other companies' apps or websites. Advertising-ID collection and personalized-ad signals are disabled in the app.
Optional usage analytics not linked to an account and crash reporting are off by default. You can enable or disable either service independently in Settings under Privacy without limiting the metronome. Disabling either service immediately closes the app telemetry gate, stores the opt-out with retries, asks the corresponding SDK transport to stop, and reapplies the choice on launch. The app requests deletion of any unsent crash report when crash reporting is switched off. While it remains off, the Crashlytics SDK may cache a later crash locally, but it is not transmitted without later consent and is deleted on the next launch while disabled.
Data is encrypted in transit and Firebase access is limited to authorized project members. Local records remain until you clear app storage or uninstall the app, subject to any Apple-platform backup retained under your device and iCloud settings. Crashlytics generally retains crash data and associated identifiers for 90 days before deletion begins; Analytics follows the retention period configured for our property. Disabling either service stops future transmissions. The app does not expose an installation identifier, so records already sent to Firebase cannot currently be identified reliably for individual deletion and expire under those retention periods.
The app does not knowingly collect names, contact details, precise location, account information, or user-generated content from children.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new "last updated" date.
